Meetings
Formal-
Second Wednesday of every month
7:30 pm
Arrigo Chrysler Jeep Dodge Sawgrass
5901 Madison Ave.
Tamarac, FL 33321

A monthly formal meeting is where we do the club's business of scheduling events, rides, etc. and planning future endeavors.  We also have items at most meetings for raffle to lucky members.  The first prize is always a 50/50 drawing.

Informal -
Every other Friday night
Around 7:00 pm
At the south end of the Tower Shops Mall in Davie, FL

We usually section off part of the parking area near the large auto show. Look for us between Pep Boys and Home Depot. We visit with friends and interested onlookers.  Sometimes we tailgate and other times many will go out for dinner afterwards.

The schedule for this event is posted on our
"Jeep Talk
" bulletin board calendar.

History of Our Club

The original Plantation Jeep Club was established in 1982 on the basis of mutual enjoyment of owning and using Jeep vehicles.  The club was organized with the thought in mind that camping and four wheeling in a group is more fun and safer than by going alone.
On January 1, 2006 the club was renamed to "South Florida Jeep Club".

Our club motto is "MUD, SWEAT, and GEARS"

Throughout the year the South Florida Jeep Club participates in many activities and events.  Some of them include:
  • 4-wheeling all over the United States
  • Camping
  • Canoeing/Kayaking
  • Attending other club's events - usually winning prizes
  • Membership of off-road associations
  • Parades - We have tremendous civic pride
  • Charity donations including Toys for Tots and 4Kids
  • Time and Support to other charities such as the fundraising for Sgt. Chris Reyka's family and other fallen police officers
  • Gift boxes to our Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Marines
  • Club picnics
  • Attending sporting events
  • A vacation cruise
  • Our very own Jeep Fest event

At EVERY event the main goal is to have fun with friends and family.

I'd like to thank Jim, Bill, Tim, Lisa and any other members who have shared their photos online and I've managed to "borrow" them for our site.  If you want your photo removed, please contact me.
